Rabbi

Rabbi Marc Sack is a 1982 graduate from both the Jewish Theological Seminary and Columbia University School of Social Work.  He began his career as an assistant rabbi at Beth El Synagogue in Minneapolis, Minnesota.  He was the rabbi at Congregation Agudas Achim in Austin, Texas from 1985 – 95.  He came to Congregation Rodeph Sholom in Tampa, Florida in 1995.

Rabbi Sack served for one year on the Ethics in Journalism Committee of the American Society of Newspaper Editors. In 1994, he spoke at a symposium on faith after the Holocaust sponsored by the Laguna Gloria Art Museum in Austin.  In 2007, he spoke at the conference “Spirituality After the Shoah” in Aspen, Colorado.  
 
Rabbi Sack and his wife, Leni, have 4 children, ages ranging from 31 to 20.
